Overview

Planet One International Education's approved Pearson BTEC centre in Ras Al Khaimah will sponsor your student or trainee visa, provided you have confirmed your enrolment on a Pearson BTEC programme and formally requested visa sponsorship through Student Services.

Our team manages the entire submission process on your behalf. Once your application is reviewed and approved, your visa will be issued by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development (RAK DOK) in coordination with the UAE General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.

Required Documents

  • A clear colour copy of your valid passport - must remain valid for at least six months beyond the date of your visa application
  • A recent passport-size photograph taken against a plain white background (taken within the last three months)
  • A certified copy of your Higher Secondary School certificate or equivalent leaving qualification
  • Proof of enrolment / offer letter from the Pearson BTEC approved centre

Submit your complete document pack no later than the dates below to avoid delays to your visa and course start date

4-Step Visa Process

From document submission to visa issuance - fully managed by our Student Services team

1. Submit Documents to Student Services +

Deliver your complete document pack by the stated deadline via courier or in person to our Student Services office at P.O.Box 41222, RAKEZ Academic Zone, Al Dhait South, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Incomplete packs will not be processed.

2. Document Verification +

Our team verifies your documents in accordance with UAE immigration requirements and regulations. Any missing or non-compliant documents will be flagged at this stage and returned to you for correction.

3. Application Submitted to UAE Authorities +

Your verified application is forwarded to the UAE General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs by POIE Student Services on your behalf. No further action is required from you at this stage.

4. Visa Issued - Travel Confirmation +

You will receive written confirmation once your visa has been officially issued. Only then should you finalise travel arrangements. Students are strongly advised not to book flights or make travel plans before receiving this confirmation.

Important Notes

  • Students are strongly advised not to make any travel arrangements until they have received written confirmation that their visa has been officially issued.
  • Any applicable visa fees must be paid in full at the time of submitting your application to Student Services.
  • The verification process required may vary depending on your nationality or country of residence - Student Services will advise you of your specific requirements.

Document Standards

Photocopies or unverified documents will not be accepted. Original documents or certified true copies only.

Documents that have not been attested or apostilled by the relevant authorities will be returned unprocessed. Please ensure all verification is completed before submission to avoid delays to your visa and course start date.
